Ok so in this small news post I am going to toss around a few ideas regarding the tournament and client. I believe that having a tournament on the 28th will be rushing things if we want this tournament to be one for the record books. I have been busy with finals the last week so I wasn't able to make any progress on the tournament stuff. However I intend to use this week to make progress on it. I believe I am going to delay the tournament until sometime next week, perhaps on weekdays and making it a day by day tournament because there will be alot of matches. As far as the client goes, beta testing is ready and everything is looking ready to go. As soon as I get a few hours to work with Mark then I will be able to get everything setup. I appreciate any input as to a solid tournament schedule and I apologize for not being able to have the tournament this weekend seeing that I ran out of time to set things up as I have other priorities.

After a small decision making process, I have decided that the tournament which is supposed to be run Saturday the 21st will be postponed until the 28th. I decided to postpone it due to the fact that many gamers will have final exams at the time and it's a busy week for a lot of us. The tournament for the 28th will be a pay to play 32 team tournament. We are figuring 10 dollars per team to join via paypal. Registration will most likely open up early and hopefully all spots get filled. It will be a hectic week for us getting everything prepared but hopefully we can pull it off. The prizes will be much better than last weeks, any suggestions will be listened to. We are hopefully shooting to use the AC client for this tournament as well, it will be a beta session for it and if all goes well then we'll see what we can do with it later. Thanks for the support!

Well to start things off, I would like to apologize for having quite a few of user accounts removed but it was a precaution we had to take after a website breach. For those of you who have registered after April 5th, please re-register. I will try and have the stats from matches between April 5 to earlier today posted up later. On the other hand, the DB Server scripts have been completed as demanded, we will have it up and working within a few days. As well, as you all have noticed we now have a PUG1.Miami server, so please show your gratitude towards Detox Servers for being the backbone to our gaming needs and stop by their channel.
And here is what you have been waiting for so far;
The Client - The status on the client is extremely close to being complete. Mark is adding a few security updates and some extra design features and within a short period of time everyone will be enjoying a hacker free community.
Also Mark released a new screenshot:

The Version 2 - The status on the version 2 website is pushing 75%, I am re-writing a majority of the site for more user-friendly"ness", and a few extra goodies here and there for everyone.
There will be a major update to come, however I cannot release any details entailing it now but there will be changes to FragHYPE, and these changes will only benefit you guys.
Enjoy!
Collin
